Today my mom, brother, and I were hiking through the woods at Glenn Otto park in Troutdale. I noticed the huge amounts of clay near the river’s shore, showing all the layers inside, like pages in a book.
I loved the feeling of the clay, which almost felt like Play-Doh.
Some animals in different parts of the world depend on clay. One example is the parrot. Parrots, like the Scarlet Macaw, actually eat clay. Why? The clay is suppose to kill toxins found in poisonous seeds they may eat. Elephants in the Congo jungle also eat clay. Here’s how they do it.
First, they visit natural clearings where water holes can be found. Second, they stick their trunks down in the mud very deep, either on their knees, or while standing up. Third, they blow away the mud, and then suck up the clay with their trunks. Last of all, they spray the clay in their mouths. Like parrots, the clay is also suppose to kill any toxins found in the elephant’s diet. So clay is very important to God’s amazing creatures.
The layers of clay that I found, show what Noah’s flood record would have looked like. The Grand Canyon is one example of this. Showing and telling a story of a worldwide flood. But unlike books, not all the layers of clay or earth we see today are complete. Some were either washed away, while others were destroyed.
There is one book that is not missing any pages, and tells us all we need to know for life, because it is perfect and complete. And that book is the bible. The bible is the best book to go to for answers. To help you know about the origin of life, God’s plan for Salvation and how to follow Jesus. So what do you believe? Evolution? Or creation?
“Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved” Acts 16:31
“And God saw everything that he made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.” Genesis 1:31

Maximus, I enjoy reading your adventures very much. I found your topics very interesting. They are topics I know nothing about. I am learning so much from you. I love how you talk about scriptures from the Bible and Jesus. You are such a wonderful witness. Yes, the book of Genesis tells us:
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
I am looking forward to your next blog. I would never unsubscribe from your adventures.
