Pony Power

One of the smallest ponies in the world, the Shetland, stands 42 inches high. They originated and still live wild on the Island of Shetland, a Scottish Island. Even though they are small, they are strong. In the wild, they are known for their strength as they endure a very harsh winter environment. With their warm winter coats and size, they can survive harsh wintery winds and snow. For it’s size, the Shetlands are probably the strongest of all horses and ponies.

I think of these animals as a symbol of power, strength, and determination. As Christians, we have power, strength, and determination, which God wants us to use, through Jesus Christ, for our spiritual life. This means, to not give up on following Jesus and His word.

Ephesians 6:10 “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.”
